Common sense buying wrought iron doors #1

Would it be weird if after 13 years of building, installing and selling iron doors in Dallas/Ft. Worth I told you " there are some things in this business I do not understand ".  Maybe you would think I bet this guy knows everything there is to know about iron doors.  After all he has 13 years experience and who knows how many doors ( too many to count ) in the DFW marketplace.  You might even venture to say you have seen the M2 Iron Doors logo on his trucks all over town and even on the wrapped and protected entry doors of the finest builders in North Texas.  But after everything I have invested and the expertise I have gained there are a few things I just can't explain.  Where is the common sense in buying an iron door?  Maybe you might find this useful when you are considering a rather large purchase for your home.  Common sense point number one when purchasing your new wrought iron door : [ You are purchasing the owner's commitment to excellence].  Point #1 I do not understand - People still think they got a great deal if they got the lowest price.  The best price and best commitment to excellence are rarely synonymous.  Common sense item #1 : Iron Doors are not green beans in a can for $1.29 at Central Market and Trader Joe's has the same can for $.99 and you just drive across the street and get the same green beans.  If you don't believe me then google [ pissed consumer iron doors ].

Hope this helps you make a smart decision.

Michael :)

What Our Clients Are Saying

Michael,

Been meaning to drop you a note and let you know how pleased we are with the doors we bought from you 2 ½ years ago. As you probably know, many quick decisions are made when building a home. It takes a little time and hindsight to truly know what decisions were good and what decisions were, uh, not so good. Clearly one of the best decisions we made regarding our home, both in style and substance, was the purchase of your doors. We think they look great, and not surprisingly, get more compliments about the doors than anything else.
